Valentine's Day looks set to be starriest rom-com ever
Story by Jack Foley
GARRY Marshall has added more big names to his star-studded rom-com Valentine’s Day, which already reunites him with Pretty Woman star Julia Roberts.
The movie, which sees five inter-connected love stories play out in Los Angeles over the course of February 14, already stars Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel, The Hangover’s Bradley Cooper, Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner, Shirley MacLaine, as well as Roberts.
But it’s now added Roberts’ niece, Emma, to the line-up as well as Spider-Man 3 star Topher Grace and Marshall veteran Hector Elizondo, who has previously appeared in both Pretty Woman and Frankie & Johnny.
Empire reports that Emma Roberts will play a teenager seeking to lose her virginity to her boyfriend, while Grace will play a mailroom assistant who is dating Hathaway’s character. Elizondo will play the husband of MacLaine’s character.
The film is being completed by New Line with a view to being released in cinemas on February 12, 2010.
