Wild Hogs: Travolta rides in for premiere

John Travolta at the UK premire of Wild Hogs

Story by Jack Foley

JOHN Travolta roared triumphantly into Leicester Square on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle in formation with his co-stars Tim Allen and Ray Liotta on Wednesday night (March 28, 2007), to attend the UK premiere of their new film, Wild Hogs.

Hundreds of fans turned out to catch a glimpse of the Hollywood stars as they rode the red carpet to the soundtrack of Bruce Springsteen’s Born To Be Wild.

They then spent 30 minutes signing autographs for fans before heading into the foyer for the screening.

Travolta was clearly impressed by the glamour of proceedings and dressed for the part – wearing a black bandana and black leathers.

Wild Hogs follows the fortunes of a group of middle-aged friends decide to rev up their routine suburban lives with a freewheeling motorcycle trip.

Taking a long dreamed-of breather from their stressful jobs and family responsibilities, they can’t wait to feel the freedom of the open road.

When this mis-matched foursome – Travolta, Allen, William H Macy and Martin Lawrence – set out for this once-in-a-lifetime experience, they encounter a world that holds far more than they ever bargained for…

The film has taken almost $125m in three weeks in America and opens in UK cinemas on Friday, April 13, 2007.
