Story by Jack Foley
WRESTLING star John Cena is to star alongside Danny Glover and Patricia Clarkson in new family drama Brother’s Keeper.
The film will focus on a teenage boy, played by Devon Graye, who attempts to reunite his mother (Clarkson) with his estranged older brother (Cena) 10 years after the death of their father.
At the same time, the boy tries to emulate his father by joining the high school wrestling team, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Cena has previously starred in the action heavy features, The Marine and 12 Rounds, but is now looking to move towards more family-friendly material in a career choice that echoes that of former wrestling colleague Dwayne Johnson.
