FOLLOWING their wildly successful European run that included sold out dates in Manchester and London that were upgraded to larger venues 30 Seconds To Mars are pleased to announce a return to the UK in April for a five-date national tour.

The band – formed by Hollywood star Jared Leto – will kick things off in Glasgow on April 20 before finishing off with a night at London’s Astoria on April 24.

The band’s recent US single The Kill has become the longest-running hit in the history of the Modern Rock chart in the US since the chart started monitoring in 1988.

It recently won MTV2 Best Video Award and it will be released in the UK following the April tour.

22 – Cardiff University
23 – Birmingham Academy
24 – London Astoria

30 Seconds To Mars was formed by Jared Leto and Shannon Leto and comprises: Jared, vocals and guitar; Shannon, drums; Tomo Milicevic, guitar; and Matt Wachter, bass.

Since forming in 2001 and releasing their debut album in 2002, they have gone from strength-to-strength as musicians, songwriters and live performers, with their recent album, A Beautiful Lie, going platinum in the US.

The success of this album was further acknowledged by MTV, who awarded the band MTV Best Video Award for the video to their The Kill single.
