ABC announce final show at Royal Albert Hall for 2017

Story by Jack Foley

FOLLOWING the success of Lexicon of Love UK tour for October and November 2016, and due to high demand, ABC have announced a final show at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall on Thursday, April 6, 2017.

With all shows on the tour nearly sold out this will be a chance to see the band perform The Lexicon of Love in its entirety for one final time.

A mere 34 years since the release of one of the landmark albums of the 80’s, ABC returned earlier this year with the release of their most resounding triumph The Lexicon Of Love II on the Virgin EMI label. The UK tour and special added date for 2017 will be accompanied by the Southbank Sinfonia.

ABC will be performing their debut album The Lexicon Of Love in its entirety plus all the greatest hits and tracks from The Lexicon Of Love II, including BBC Radio 2 A listed single Viva Love and Flames of Desire.

Speaking on the new London Royal Albert Hall show Martin Fry said: “This show brings it all back to where it started. These orchestral shows have been some of our best performances.”
