AC/DC announce Black Ice UK tour dates (2009)

AC/DC’s widely-anticipated Black Ice World Tour is set to explode into the UK in April 2009 for a series of arena shows in London, Manchester and Birmingham.

The worldwide tour – the band’s first since 2001 – promotes AC/DC’s latest studio album, Black Ice, which is released worldwide this coming Monday (October 20).

Tickets for the UK dates will go on sale at 10am on Friday, October 17 at 10am.

The UK tour dates are (all April 2009):

14 – London O2
21 – - Manchester MEN Arena
23 – Birmingham LG Arena

Tickets cost £40 (plus booking fee) for Manchester and Birmingham and £45 (plus booking fee) for London. They’re limited to a maximum of two per person.

The Black Ice world tour kicks off later this month at the Wachovia Arena in Wilkes-Barre, PA, USA on October 28. That show kicks off a series of US arena shows, to be followed European dates before arriving in the UK in April 2009.
