Amy Macdonald announces UK tour (2008)

Amy Macdonald

Story by Jack Foley

FRESH from topping the album charts with her debut LP This Is The Life, Amy Macdonald has announced her biggest headline tour to date, including a night at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire in February.

At the start of 2008, the 20-year-old saw her debut album back in the top 10 and then, a week later, beat Radiohead and Take That to the top spot.

She is now set to continue her series of triumphs with the release of her fourth single, Run, on Vertigo on February 18, and the new tour dates, kicking off in Newcastle on February 7.

The tour dates are as follows (all February):

9 – Liverpool, Academy 2
12 – Wolverhampton, Wulfrun Hall
13 – Bristol, Anson Rooms
