Arctic Monkeys announce UK tour

HOT off the back of the release of their record-breaking debut album, Arctic Monkeys have announced a full UK tour, including one night at London’s Brixton Academy in April.

The band made history in January when their debut album, Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not sold more than 360,000 copies in its first week of retail, thereby breaking the record for a debut release set by Hear’Say in 2001.

The band will be playing Brixton Academy on Thursday, April 27, 2006.
