Bloc Party to play intimate Apple Store gig (2008)

BLOC Party’s Kele Okereke, Russell Lissack, Gordon Moakes and Matt Tong will bring their unique, experimental sound to the Apple Store, Regent Street when they play an intimate gig for competition winners on Friday, October 10 as part of the iTunes Live from London series.

There will also be 50 free tickets on the door on a first come, first served basis for the opportunity to hear an incredible British band up close and personal before they embark on their UK tour.

Bloc Party will showcase songs from their highly anticipated third studio album, Intimacy which follows Weekend In The City and the genre-defining debut Silent Alarm.

The exclusive live show will be performed and recorded at Apple’s state-of-the-art theatre at the Apple Store on Regent Street. The set will also be available for download on iTunes from Tuesday, October 28.

The band will take the stage shortly after 9pm on Friday night.
