BOMBAY Bicycle Club have announced a last-minute London show at Islington Assembly Hall in August.

The date comes ahead of their headline slot at Wilderness Festival and will take place on August 1, 2019. It marks their first show in the capital since selling out their final Earl’s Court show back in December 2014.

The band have also teased that they are working on new material, which will mark their first since So Long, See You Tomorrow, which came out in February 2014 and debuted at Number One on the UK albums chart.

The band announced their return to the live scene earlier this year, bringing an end to a hiatus which began in 2015.

In a statement to fans, Bombay Bicycle Club promised that new material would arise as a result of their reunion.

They will also play their debut album, I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose, in full on tour later this year, which includes a night at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on November 8.
