Bowling For Soup announce new LP and tour

Bowling For Soup

Story by Jack Foley

BOWLING For Soup have announced the release of their 10th studio-effort, Sorry For Partyin’ on A&G Records in the UK.

The Denton, TX natives return with their new single and video My Wena, which showcases their one-of-a-kind brand of fun-pop/punk. The single will be available as the lead track on an EP to be released on September 28.

With their trademark style of tongue in cheek lyrics, My Wena is filled with double entendre references about the singer’s girlfriend, Wena. The video is equally hilarious and to celebrate its release, head over to the special application that allows you to become a part of the official music video for yourself – www.mywena.com/wenaface

The Grammy nominated quartet of singer/guitarist Jaret Reddick, guitarist Chris Burney, bassist Erik Chandler and drummer Gary Wiseman will also release their tenth full length album in October.

In addition, tickets are now on sale for their Party In Your Pants UK Tour 2009 that kicks off on October 17, 2009, in Glasgow, Scotland. Dates in Japan, Australia and the US will follow later this year and into 2010.
