Charles Aznavour announces one-off Royal Albert Hall date

LEGENDARY French singer Charles Aznavour, considered to be one of the greatest singer songwriters of all times, will be appearing for one night only at the Royal Albert Hall on October 25, 2013 – his first live concert in the UK for over 25 years.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, June 28, ranging from £100 to £45 (box seats, £125).
Aznavour has enjoyed major success in the UK with his single She, which went to No.1 and featured in the blockbuster film Notting Hill. He has had further hits with The Old Fashioned Way and Yesterday When I Was Young.
In a career spanning over 60 years, over 100 million record sales, 1,200 songs, 80 movies, 294 albums, thousands of concerts around the world, Aznavour still performs and has recorded in seven languages. At 89-years-old, he is the longest standing “A list” star in the world. He is still performing over 100 concerts a year around the world.
Besides being a singer, songwriter and actor, a public activist and a diplomat, Charles founded the charity Aznavour for Armenia and has so far raised many millions of dollars for this cause.
