COLD War Kids are excited to announce the release of their fourth studio album, Dear Miss Lonelyhearts, on April 1, 2013 via Downtown Records/CoOperative Music.

In anticipation of the release, the band is currently streaming the album’s engaging lead single, Miracle Mile.

Dear Miss Lonelyhearts came to life at the band’s San Pedro, CA studio. They enlisted new guitar player, Dann Gallucci (Murder City Devils, Modest Mouse) and Lars Stalfors to produce.

“We were shaken up, ready to let certain songs go further than before by trying new styles and arrangements, while keeping others sparse and caring more about the finished product and less about how we got there,” says lead singer Nathan Willett.

Cold War Kids’ energetic live performances remain the heart of the band. On February 15, they will return to the road, playing Pappy & Harriet’s Place in Pioneertown, CA and will remain on tour through May 25.

Cold War Kids also return to Europe, kicking off their string of shows in Paris on April 24 and hitting the UK on May 9 and 10 for shows in London and Manchester.

The band will also play 4 shows at this year’s SXSW in Austin, Texas between March 9-13.

Cold War Kids will release trailers, from the making of their record, each week leading up to April 1. Trailers 1 and 2 are available now at www.coldwarkids.com
