Story by Jack Foley

COUNTRY to Country, Europe’s biggest country music festival, is back for its sixth year from Friday, March 9 to Sunday, March 11, 2018 at London’s O2 Arena.

The legendary Bob Harris announced the line up at the official launch party at Bush Hall earlier this week.

Joining Faith Hill, Tim McGraw and Little Big Town will be one of America’s biggest country stars, Kacey Musgraves, who will headline the festival for the very first time.

Joining the stellar headliners are multi-platinum and acclaimed artists Emmylou Harris, Kip Moore, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Margo Price and Midland.

The C2C Spotlight Stage will return with performances from Ashley McBryde, Jillian Jacqueline, Lindsay Ell and Lukas Nelson.

The festival brings three days of the best in country music and programming that fans have come to love and expect with performances from the world’s best country stars as well as emerging talent from Nashville, UK and Europe.

For the first time and due to popular demand C2C Glasgow will now take place at The SSE Hydro having grown out of the Clyde Auditorium.

Chris York, C2C Festival promoter for SJM Concerts, commented: “Once again Country to Country is delighted to be bringing the finest in US talent to the UK and Ireland. Our sixth year brings some welcome returning stars as well as a wealth of new and up and coming artistes across many stages in London.

“We are delighted to be returning to Dublin and moving to the wonderful Hydro in Glasgow where the event goes from strength to strength. Our fantastic partners the CMA and BBC Radio 2 continue to help us deliver the best event for the fans. This event would not be what it is without the amazing fans of all things country over here.”

Milly Olykan, C2C Festival Director for The O2, said: “To be in the sixth year of Country to Country is a real testament to the love for country music here in the UK. It’s been a pleasure to grow the event from its first days at The O2 to the level we’re at now. Bringing so much new talent to the festival never fails to excite us and it’s great to be welcoming back artists that have developed fan bases here through C2C.”

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday, October 20 from all the usual outlets.

London only: C2C London ticket holders will have access to daytime live performance and other live events. Further details to be announced.
