Craig David confirms UK tour in June (2008)

CRAIG David has confirmed his first nationwide tour since the release of his new album Trust Me, including a night at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire in June.
Having introduced the album with an exclusive week-long residency at the legendary Ronnie Scott’s venue, the dates offer another chance to catch Craig David playing in intimate settings.
The tour dates are (all June 2008):
13 – Birmingham, Alexandra Theatre
14 – Southampton, Guildhall
16 – Salford, Lowry Lyric Theatre
17 – London, Shepherd’s Bush Empire
18 – Cambridge, Corn Exchange
Tickets go on sale from 9am on Friday, February 29, priced at £28.50 for London and £27.50 for all other dates, subject to booking fee.
Part recorded in Havana, Cuba with producer Martin Terefe (KT Tunstall, James Morrison) and writer/producer/mixer Fraser T Smith (Kano, Beyonce, Plan B, Jamelia) Trust Me finds Craig David pursuing a more soulful approach, with a looser live band style than on his previous albums.
The album features the hit singles Hot Stuff (Let’s Dance) and 6 of 1 Thing. Craig David’s next single, Officially Yours, will be released on May 12.
