DEATH Cab for Cutie have announced that their hugely anticipated new album, Codes And Keys, will be released on May 30 through Atlantic Records.

And they will be making their first live return to the UK since 2008 with festival appearances and headline dates.

In addition, the debut single from the new album, You Are A Tourist, will be released on May 16.

Fans can catch them live when they will play the prestigious Hop Farm Festival on July 1, or as main support for the Foo Fighters’ show at Milton Keynes Bowl on July 2.

Following on from this, the band will be playing three headline shows in Manchester, Nottingham and finishing up at London’s Brixton Academy on July 7.

Codes And Keys, which was mixed by the brilliant Alan Moulder (My Bloody Valentine, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Nine Inch Nails) will mark the first all-new Death Cab for Cutie release since 2009, which included the hit single Meet Me On The Equinox.

2 – Milton Keynes Bowl w/ Foo Fighters

5 – Nottingham Rock City
7 – London Brixton Academy

Tickets will be available via a fan club pre-sale on Wednesday, March 9 or on gneral sale from Friday, March 11.
