Death in Vegas

Story by Jack Foley

DEATH In Vegas have been announced as the opening night act for this year’s Camden Crawl, taking place over the Bank Holiday Weekend from May 4 to 6, 2012.

The psychedelic electronic innovators will top the opening evening’s bill at Koko as part of the opening night marathon on May 4.

Revelry will commence at 5pm with a four-strong support line-up comprised of an eclectic array of 2012’s most promising new live acts. A special edition of Club NME will close the night ahead of the launch the full blown festival the following day.

This announcement follows the news that Early Bird tickets for the event have now sold out. Weekend passes for the Camden Crawl, scheduled for May 5 and 6, as well as tickets for the Opening Night Party featuring Death In Vegas are now on sale.

Camden Crawl’s evening line-ups are selected by a committee of esteemed music industry tastemakers, including radio DJs, club promoters, journalists and record labels.

In addition to the Crawl’s famously impressive evening live music schedule, the festival boasts an extensive arts festival throughout each day of the event.

From midday to 6pm, the confirmed programme for the 2012 daytime fringe includes cutting edge events from various disciplines, including comedy, storytelling & spoken word, unconventional theatre, craft, visual art and traditional music.
It also features a variety of outdoor events, an alternative poster, print & record fair as well as interactive fun & games.

Live music line-ups are due to be announced in February.
