Delphic announce March UK dates and new single

DELPHIC, whose debut album Acolyte entered the UK charts at No.8 this weekend, have announced a new run of tour dates and plans for their next single Halcyon.

The band are currently on a sold out tour of the country which includes three shows in London at The Tabernacle (Tues, January 26), Dingwalls (for MTV on Wed, 27) and Cargo on (February 22).

After exceptional critical reaction to the album and live show and Top 3 placings in both this year’s BBC Sound Poll and Brits Critics’ Choice awards, the March tour sees the band step up to bigger venues as their position as one of Britain’s most exciting new artists.

The band has also confirmed that the next single to be taken from the album will be Halcyon, which will be released on March 15..

The tour dates are (all March 2010):

11 – Edinburgh, Studio 24
12 – Newcastle, Digital
14 – Birmingham O2 Academy 2
15 – London Heaven
16 – Cambridge, Junction
17 – Manchester, Sankeys
19 – Sheffield, Leadmill
20 – Southampton University

Tickets for the tour will be on general release from Friday, January 22 at 9am. They cost £9 regional and £11 for London.
