DMAs to live stream Brixton Academy concert across two nights for free and drop Crowded House cover

Story by Jack Foley

DMA’S will live stream footage of their last headline London show at O2 Brixton Academy. The entire gig will be shown at 9pm GMT (6am AEST) on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, and will repeat at 9pm AEST (11am GMT) on Thursday, April 30 on both YouTube and Facebook.

Their O2 Brixton Academy show last month was their biggest headline London show to date and sold out in less than 24 hours. DMA’S are renowned for their live performances and did not disappoint.

The band were outstanding and put on an epic performance to a raucous and devoted crowd (which included Liam Gallagher) and has been brilliantly captured on film by director Jon Stone.

Fans who missed out on experiencing the show can stream online tonight (Weds) and tomorrow (Thurs) for free, just a few days before the band were due to start their headline UK tour.

Forthcoming album The Glow was produced and mixed by Grammy award winning producer Stuart Price (Madonna, The Killers, New Order) in the historic Westlake Recording Studios, a long way from the bands early days in Sydney. Fans can pre-order the album now. It’s available to purchase in heavy weight vinyl as well as a limited edition heavyweight tri colour vinyl which will be available through HMV and independent record stores.

There are also exclusive merchandise bundles with signed prints plus limited edition heavyweight transparent green vinyl and cassettes if purchased through the band’s official store.

Their May UK and Irish headline tour was postponed due to COVID-19 but there will be a new announcement on UK dates shortly. They also return to the UK this Autumn to play their biggest London headline show to date at Alexandra Palace on October 23, 2020. Tickets are on sale now.

The DMAs have also shared a cover they’ve done in isolation of Crowded House’s Better Be Home Soon.
