PUBLIC Enemy will be performing one of the greatest and most influential recordings of all time, It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back, at London’s Brixton Academy on May 23rd as part of the Don’t Look Back season of concerts in 2008.

The hip hop luminaries will also play Manchester Academy and Glasgow’s ABC1 in May, with the special nights including support from Dr Octagon – AKA Kool Keith – and Kutmasta Kurt, Anti Pop Consortium and Edan + MC Dagha.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, February 8 – with a pre-sale on Wednesday, February 6 through

A second show features Raekwon performing Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. Also known as The Purple Tape, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx is widely regarded as the quintessential hip hop recording of the 1990’s.

Raekwon will be performing it at Koko on May 19 and tickets cost £16 and are on sale now.

These two amazing show’s join the already announced Sebadoh performing their fourth album Bubble & Scrape at Koko on May 7. Tickets cost £17.50 and are selling fast.
