Duran Duran re-schedule all 11 UK Arena shows

Duran Duran

Story by Jack Foley

FOLLOWING the recent postponement of Duran Duran’s UK ‘All You Need Is Now’ arena tour, due to singer Simon Le Bon’s vocal problems, the band members are delighted to announce that they have been able to re-schedule all 11 concert dates for December.

Originally slated to kick off in May and end in June, the re-scheduled shows will mark an even bigger celebration of the band’s new album and their 30-year history.

Now booked to coincide with the pre-Christmas festivities in the UK, the 11 re-scheduled dates (all of which will remain in their original venues) will mark the band’s first full UK arena tour in seven years, for which they are planning a totally new and spectacular production.

Tickets for the original May/June shows will be valid for the new dates listed below.

November
30 – Brighton Centre

December
1 – Bournemouth International Centre
2 – Birmingham LG Arena
4 – Glasgow SECC
6 – Nottingham Capital FM Arena
8 – Cardiff International Arena
10 – Liverpool Echo Arena
12 – London O2 Arena
14 – Sheffield Motorpoint Arena
16 – Manchester Evening News Arena
17 – Newcastle Metro Radio Arena

Further tickets priced from £30 are available online.

Commenting on the re-scheduled dates, bassist John Taylor said: “Given the fact that we’d missed the dates in May, we wanted to do something really special for the fans pre-Christmas.

“It’s taken us a minute to clear dates in all of these venues, as this is obviously an incredibly busy time of year, but finally we’ve been able to make it work and cannot wait to get there!”
