Earth, Wind & Fire to play Wembley

Earth, Wind & Fire

Story by Jack Foley

EARTH, Wind and Fire, one of the most influential contemporary funk pop music bands of the 20th Century, have announced a series of rare UK Arena dates, including a stop at the new-look Wembley Arena on May 11, 2006.

The name Earth, Wind and Fire is almost synonymous with good vibes, sing-a-long hits and boogie dancing!

As well as Wembley, they will also play Birmingham’s NEC Arena (May 12) and Manchester’s MEN Arena (May 13).

Last year, they released their new studio album to critical acclaim, Illumination, on Sanctuary Records.

In their 35-year history, the seven-time Grammy Award winning group have sold millions of albums worldwide (including eight double-platinum albums, two platinum albums and three gold albums), and have also enjoyed countless hits in both the pop and R&B charts.

Performing all the hits from Boogie Wonderland, through to That’s The Way Of The World, After The Love Has Gone, Fantasy and Devotion, the party will be really coming to town this Summer.
