Ed Harcourt announces May-June UK tour (2013)

Ed Harcourt

Story by Jack Foley

ED Harcourt releases his new single Hey Little Bruiser on March 25, 2013, on CCCLX, the new label set up by Sean Adams, founder of Drowned in Sound, and has also announced a string of UK tour dates for May and June.

Hey Little Bruiser features guest violin from Ed’s wife Gita Harcourt and delivers standout line “you got the good bits from your mother and the bad parts from me,” in typically self-deprecating fashion.

It’s taken from Harcourt’s new LP Back Into The Woods, which was recorded in just six hours at the iconic Abbey Road studios and is set for release on February 25, 2013.

With Catherine A.D as special guest support, Harcourt will bring the album to life on a 12-date tour of England’s finest churches and concert halls, starting out at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton and finishing up at Norwich Arts Centre in June.

Ed Harcourt plays the following venues (all May and June 2013):

30 – London, Cadogan Hall
31 – Wolves, Slade Rooms
