Ed Sheeran joins Teenage Cancer Trust 2017 gigs
Story by Jack Foley
ED Sheeran is the latest headliner to join this year’s Teenage Cancer Trust gigs at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
The No.1 singer will play the venue on March 28, 2017. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, February 17.
Sheeran commented: “It’s an honour to be asked back by the Teenage Cancer Trust for their fundraising week of live gigs. It’s such an important cause and one that I’m extremely proud to be a part of. See you on March 28 and let’s raise loads of money for young people with cancer!”
Twenty five-year-old Sheeran has broken records across the globe with his dual comeback singles Shape Of You and Castle On The Hill.
Holding firm at the top of the UK charts, the singles have accumulated over 900 million combined global streams to date and Shape Of You even achieved Spotify’s biggest-ever day streams and shot straight to #1 on the USA’s Billboard Hot 100 upon release!
Sheeran’s hotly anticipated third album, titled ÷ (divide), will be released on March 3 and with his Teenage Cancer Trust show at the Royal Albert Hall just weeks later, this show is one not to be missed.
