Embrace announce Autumn 2006 tour

EMBRACE, who are currently at No. 3 in the singles chart with the official World Cup anthem, World At Your Feet have announced a major UK tour for the autumn.

The band will play 17 dates around the country in September and October kicking off on September 21 in Hull and taking in London’s Hammersmith Apollo on September 29.

Embrace broke records this week when World At Your Feet rose from No. 38 to No. 3 in the charts, becoming the biggest climber in UK Top 40 history.

The band launched the single with a sell-out at gig at London’s Islington Academy last week at which the Germany v Costa Rica match was shown prior to the gig.

Embrace are currently midway through a tour of open air dates to capacity crowds in forests throughout the UK. Their latest No.1 album, This New Day is out now.
