NOKIA and La Blogotheque have announced that alternative rock/pop band Everything Everything will headline the 2013 finale of the Nokia Lumia Live Sessions.

The critically acclaimed band will play their first London performance in five months to an intimate crowd of approximately 400 guests at a secret location in East London on Tuesday, October 1, 2013.

The venue will be announced to the lucky winners. Members of the public can apply for tickets now until 11.59am on Friday, September 27, by heading to Nokia.com

The four-piece band’s second studio album, Arc, was released in January 2013 and debuted at number 5 in the UK charts.

The Lumia Live Sessions is a tour that sees Nokia and music pioneers La Blogotheque, a team of bloggers and videographers famous for helping to kick-start the careers of scores of musicians globally, team up to showcase hot new UK music talent at a series of free gigs in unusual settings across the UK.

To date, they have hosted Ghostpoet in a cemetery in Bristol, Lianne La Havas in a skate park in Liverpool, Fenech-Soler in an MMA fighting cage in Leeds, Slow Club in the Panopticon in Glasgow and The Staves on a beach in Cornwall.

Annie Kearney, Partner Manager Nokia UK, said: “We are super excited to be working with Everything Everything as the headliner for the final leg of the Lumia Live Sessions. The band are still relatively new to the music scene but have made a huge splash within the industry. That is what the Lumia Live Sessions are all about, helping people discover new music in places and ways they could only imagine.”
