Fall Out Boy announce three UK dates (2008)

MULTI-platinum selling Mercury Music group artist Fall Out Boy have announced three arena tour dates this October, including a night at London’s Wembley Arena.

Fall Out Boy’s 2007 release Infinity On High was the follow-up to From Under The Cork Tree, their Mercury debut of May 2005, which spent 72 weeks on the Billboard 200 albums chart and has sold more than 3 million copies worldwide.

They have great success with singles Dance, Dance, Thnks fr th mmrs and This Ain’t A Scene, It’s An Arms Race. Their latest single, Beat It, featuring John Mayer is out now to download.

More recently, Chicago’s Fall Out Boy – aka Patrick Stump (vocals/guitar), Pete Wentz (bass), Joe Trohman (guitar), and Andy Hurley (drums) – released LIVE IN PHOENIX, their first long-form DVD two-disc package with bonus CD, in April and Patrick Stump has featured on label mates, Gym Class Heroes tracks; Cupid’s Chokehold and Clothes Off.

They now come back to the UK to play the following dates (all October 2008)…

19 – Birmingham NEC
21 – Glasgow SECC
22 – Wembley Arena

Tickets go on general sale on Monday, July 21 at 9am, with prices costing £21.50 for Birmingham, £22.50 for Glasgow and £23.50 for London.
