Fatboy Slim

Story by Jack Foley

EIGHT days before Christmas, Fatboy Slim will appear at The O2, London for the first time ever – on Saturday, December 17, 2016.

He will be echoing the magic of the end of the millennium by playing in the round, 360 degrees of smiley ness, with a heaving dancefloor and a spectacular production over head.

Fatboy Slim has a reputation for innovative shows around the world from beaches to boxing rings, Igloos to Ibiza, swimming pools to stadiums. So, come to The O2 and Fatboy Slim will praise you like he should…

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, June 10.

To celebrate the announcement of this brand new headline show at The O2 London, Fatboy Slim has also been confirmed as an official ambassador for Busk In London.

Busk In London is a non-profit initiative launched by the Mayor of London in 2015 to protect and champion the importance of street performance to city culture. As an official Ambassador, Fatboy Slim has invited a selection of buskers to celebrate his new London arena show with performances of classic tracks on pitches across Central London during the commuter rush hour on Tuesday morning. They will also be invited to the concert later in the year.

On his London The O2 show and becoming an ambassador, Norman Cook said: “I started my career busking with Paul Heaton pre The Housemartins, we were called The Stomping Pond Frogs in the early 80’s, so I’m very proud to be a supporter of buskers nationwide. It’s a story come full circle.”
