FLORENCE + the Machine have announced a series of UK tour dates in 2012 in support of their new album Ceremonials.

The critically-acclaimed LP has shipped over 1 million units in just over two weeks since its release and hit the top of the UK charts and the Billboard Top 10 in its first week.

In celebration, Florence has announced her first full UK dates since the Cosmic Love tour in May 2010, with a series of huge venues up and down the country, including two nights at Alexandra Palace in London.

Main support on all dates will come from The Horrors.

Spector will be the opening band throughout the tour except London on March 9, where Florence will be joined by Theme Park.

The tour dates are (all March 2012):

5 – Motorpoint Arena Cardiff
6 – Capital FM Arena Nottingham
8 & 9 – Alexandra Palace London
12 – SECC Glasgow
13 – LG Arena Birmingham
15 – MEN Arena Manchester
16 – Metro Radio Arena Newcastle

Tickets go on general sale on Friday, November 25, and are £29.50 in the UK (plus booking fees).
