Foo Fighters announce Milton Keynes Bowl shows (2015)

Story by Jack Foley

FOO Fighters have made good on their promise to return to the UK as soon as possible by announcing two exclusive shows at Milton Keynes Bowl in September 2015.

The gigs take place on Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6, 2015, at the venue, with special guest Iggy Pop.

The aforementioned promise was made by Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl following his injury (the fracture incurred in his June 12 fall from the stage in Gothenburg, Sweden) that forced the postponement of previously announced UK shows.

He had said: “You have always stood by our band, and we will always stand by you. Like I say at every show, we wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you guys. And I mean that. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. And I will do everything I can to come back and give you a night to remember for the rest of your lives as soon as possible.”

Ticket purchasers for the June shows by Foo Fighters at Wembley Stadium will be offered an exclusive allocation of tickets to buy up front of the general on-sale for shows by the band at Milton Keynes Bowl.

The ticket link supplied will be active for 48 hours from Wednesday, July 15 at 9am and allows one purchase per applicant of 4 maximum tickets. All tickets are “General Admission” only.

This is a limited offer and on a first come first served basis. The offer ends on Friday, July 17 at 9am or when allocation is fully subscribed.

Tickets for the general public will then go on sale on July 17 at 10am.
