Fyfe Dangerfield announces 12-date UK tour (2010)

FOLLOWING the huge success of his enthralling version of Billy Joel’s More Than A Woman, Fyfe Dangerfield is set to embark on an extensive headline tour of the UK this September.

Fyfe’s soulful melodies and magnificent pop hooks wooed crowds at two intimate shows at London’s Bloomsbury Ballroom in April where fans included Sir Paul McCartney.

Calling at London’s O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on September 21, this will be Fyfe’s biggest tour to date so big things can be expected!

The tour dates are (all September 2010):

17 – Nottingham, Rescue Rooms
19 – Bristol, Thekla
20 – Exeter, Phoenix
21 – London, O2 Shepherds Bush Empire
22 – Brighton, Komedia
24 – Oxford, Academy 2
25 – Birmingham, HMV Institute
27 – Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
28 – Gateshead, The Sage
29 – Edinburgh, Bongo Club
30 – Glasgow, Oran Mor

All gigs cost £12.50, except London which is £15, and they go on sale on Friday, June 11, at 9am.

Fyfe will be playing songs from his acclaimed debut solo album Fly Yellow Moon, which was re-released with bonus material on May 17, including the single version of Faster Than The Setting Sun.
