Gallows announce UK tour (2009)

Story by Jack Foley

WATFORD-based punk outfit Gallows have announced plans for a new tour in May to promote their first new material since the release of the now-legendary Orchestra Of Wolves LP in 2006.

The rockers will play a total of 15 dates, commencing in Brighton and concluding in Dublin, with a night at London’s Forum along the way.

Produced by Garth Richardson (Biffy Clyro, Rise Against, Rage Against The Machine) at London’s RAK Studios and titled Grey Britain, Gallows second album is described as a swift upper-cut to the face of anyone expecting the band to have tamed their sound for mass consumption.

If anything, they sound nastier and more feral than ever before!

Gallows UK tour dates are (all May 2009):

2 – Brighton Concorde 2
5 – Sheffield Leadmill
6 – Manchester Academy
8 – Glasgow ABC1
9 – Newcastle Academy
10 – Leeds Met Uni
