Gaz Coombes announces UK dates in support of World’s Strongest Man LP (2018)

Story by Jack Foley

GAZ Coombes has announced a series of European dates in support of his forthcoming third solo album, World’s Strongest Man (released on Hot Fruit/Caroline International on May 4, 2018).

Gaz will play venues throughout Europe as well as a UK leg that includes shows in Glasgow, Liverpool, Leeds, Dublin and London in May.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday, February 2 from all of the usual agents. A pre-sale will be available from 10am on Wednesday, January 31 for fans signed up via Gaz’s website.

World’s Strongest Man is inspired variously by Grayson Perry’s The Descent of Man, Frank Ocean’s Blonde, Californian weed, British woodlands, unchecked toxic masculinity and hip hop (and a whole lot more besides).

Gaz plays a previously announced one-off, sold out show at ULU on February 28.

The UK shows are as follows (all May 2018)

17 – The Garage, Glasgow
18 – Arts Club, Liverpool
19 – Church, Leeds
21 – O2 Institute 2, Birmingham
22 – The Trinity Centre, Bristol
23 – Palladium, London
25 – The Academy, Dublin
