Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly

Story by Jack Foley

GET Cape. Wear Cape. Fly and Editors have teamed up to organise a charity concert in aid of the victims of the recent cyclone in Burma.

The gig was the brainchild of Get Cape’s Sam Duckworth, who is part-Burmese, and will also include a set from Enter Shikari as well as Tom Smith and Russell Leetch from Editors.

It takes place at London’s Scala on Sunday, June 1 when Duckworth also promises a number of special guests and DJ sets.

Tickets are priced £20 plus booking fee and are available from

All proceeds from the event will go to Oxfam’s Myanmar Cyclone appeal.

The cyclone hit the south-east Asian state on May 3 and is believed to have killed an estimated 78,000 people so far. Current reports suggest that 1.5 million people are now homeless in the region, with the aid effort facing huge challenges and much frustration due to the country’s military regime.
