Ghosts to play Hard Rock Cafe benefit gigs

Ghosts, The World Is Outside

Story by Jack Foley

GHOSTS will be playing exclusively at Hard Rock locations throughout the UK from October 9 to 17 October, with all money raised from ticket sales will go to The Caron Keating Foundation.

Ecstatic melodies, sugar-spun choruses, underwired by brooding emotion, sweetness and turbulence combined. That’s Ghosts.

Since signing to the legendary Atlantic Records in early 2007, it has been a whirlwind year: the band released its debut album The World Is Outside in June, toured extensively around the country and played some of the biggest UK festivals, including T In The Park, Wireless, V Festival and Hard Rock Presents Hyde Park Calling.

The 5-date tour is as follows…

Tuesday, October 9 – Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh
Wednesday, October 10 – Hard Rock Cafe Manchester
Thursday, October 11 – Hard Rock Cafe Cardiff
Tuesday, October 16 – Hard Rock Cafe Nottingham
Wednesday, October 17 – Hard Rock Cafe London

Hard Rock’s Rocktober, which started in Europe in 2005 and grew into a global campaign, brings some of the world’s best live music to small and intimate surroundings.

This year, Hard Rock Cafes in the UK will donate proceeds to The Caron Keating Foundation, which offers financial support to professional carers, complimentary healing practitioners and support groups dealing with cancer patients, as well as individuals and families who are affected by the disease.

In addition, Hard Rock has also teamed up with Dean Guitars, who are producing a custom-made pink ribbon guitar that will be raffled off at the end of the month.

Raffle tickets priced at £1 will be on sale in the cafes throughout the entire month, and various supporting artists will sign the guitar.

Tickets for these exclusive intimate shows are available now at
