Good Shoes announce full April UK tour

FOLLOWING on from their sold-out tour in late 2009, Good Shoes have announced a second massive UK tour in April with many all-ages shows.

The dates follow on from Good Shoes’ in-store tour – which kicks off today at London’s Rough Trade East – and their Hope & Future 4-day festival at Stag’s Head, London from Wednesday, January 20 until Saturday, January 23, 2010.

To coincide with Good Shoes current in-store tour, the band are selling early copies of their forthcoming album, No Hope No Future from today – two weeks ahead of official release – in independent record shops and via their newly launched on-line store

And as an additional treat for fans, four full tracks from No Hope, No Future can now be streamed, while forthcoming single Under Control’ can be downloaded for FREE on the band’s website

Good Shoes release new single Under Control on 7” and download today (January 11, 2010), with the full album No Hope No Future following two weeks later on January 25. Both on Brille Records.

21 – Good Shoes with Disappearers (4pm matinee and evening show) and Gold Sounds (evening only). DJ sets from Pipes and Flutes (Young Knives) & Loud and Quiet magazine DJs

22 – Good Shoes with Wild Palms (4pm matinee and evening show) and Othello Woolf (evening only). DJ sets from Blood Red Shoes, Amp & Deck (aka Blaine from Mystery Jets and Kev Kev) plus Brille Records and Dollop DJs..

23 – (all day) – Good Shoes with La Shark, Is Tropical. Brute Chorus, The Stormy Seas, Stricken City, Erin k and Tash. DJ sets from Maximo Park, Rory Phillps. Silver Hips with Rhys (Good Shoes), Club The Mammoth / Islington Boys Club DJs Vs This Aint No Disco.

Tickets are £5 for the evening shows and £3 for the matinees on the door, with a limited number being available in advance from:
