Green Day announce Wembley Stadium gig (2010)

GREEN Day have confirmed their first UK stadium shows since their famous two-night stand at Milton Keynes National Bowl in 2005, including their first ever Wembley Stadium gig.

The band will play the prestigious venue in June 2010, along with a night at Manchester Lancashire County Cricket Ground and Parc des Princes in Paris.

Tickets for the shows go on sale at 9am on Friday, November 6 at a price of £49.50 and £42.50 for London, and £39.50 for Manchester. Tickets are limited to six per applicant and under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.

The tour dates are (June 2010):

Wed 16 – Manchester Lancashire County Cricket Ground
Sat 19 – London Wembley Stadium
26 – Parc des Princes, Paris

Green Day’s recent sold-out tour reiterated their status as one of the world’s most electrifying live bands and featured a huge array of their hits including Basket Case, Good Riddance (Time of Your Life), Minority, American Idiot, Wake Me Up When September Ends, Know Your Enemy and 21 Guns.
