Groove Armada announce 10th anniversary tour

Groove Armada

Story by Jack Foley

GROOVE Armada look to cap the celebrations of their tenth anniversary year (GA10) with the announcement of a nationwide tour in November.

The UK tour concludes with two celebratory nights at London’s Brixton Academy and offers the chance to see a band well and truly at the top of their game.

The tour announcement follows a fantastic year for Groove Armada – aka Tom Findlay and Andy Cato – which has so far included the release of their critically acclaimed Soundboy Rock album and two top 10 singles Get Down and Song For Mutya: Out of Control.

The boys also hosted another phenomenally successful Lovebox, the festival they curate in London’s Victoria Park and Dublin.

Meanwhile Tom and Andy are planning a special GA10 concept CD set which celebrates the cream of their uptempo dance mixes and the very best of their downtempo mixes in one exciting package. They aim to release this to coincide with the tour.

The tour dates are (all November):

1 – Sheffield Octagon
2 – Glasgow Barrowlands
6 – Birmingham Academy
7 – Southend Cliffs Pavilion
8 – Lincoln Engine Shed
9 – Manchester Apollo
10 – Brighton Centre
12 – Bournemouth Intl Centre
15 & 16 – Brixton Academy

All regional tickets are £20, except London which is £23.50 on Thursday, November 15 and £27.50 for Friday, November 16.
