Groove Armada offering to remix your song for Haiti relief funds

Groove Armada

Story by Jack Foley

GLOBALLY successful dance duo Groove Armada are offering to remix your song in aid of Oxfam’s Haiti effort.!

eBay bidding is now open at http://bit.ly/GAoxfamremix

The band have previously remixed tracks by artists including Madonna, Calvin Harris, Shirley Bassey and Roots Manuva. Your song will be given the same Groove Armada remix treatment.

The winning bidder will not be able to make profit directly from the remix via sales, synching or any other means – but will be able to air the track in public (for instance, on MySpace). A contract will need to be signed before the remix is received.

Due to the immediate need in Haiti, Oxfam has only been able to publish limited item information on eBay before the auction started.

The charirty will add more information as it comes in at www.oxfam.org.uk/haitiauction – but in the meantime, there are a number of auction items available for you to bid on and help.

Some of the biggest names in music, including Damon Albarn, Chris Martin, Arctic Monkeys and Pet Shop Boys, have come together to put on a special auction to raise funds for Oxfam’s emergency response in Haiti. And you can View all auction items here
