Hard-Fi return with new monthly podcast Rockin' The City

Hard-Fi (podcasts)

Story by Jack Foley

HARD-Fi will today give fans an exclusive glimpse behind the scenes as they tour the globe, with their new monthly podcast Rockin’ The City.

Featuring never-seen-before footage of the band, the series will kick off with two podcasts covering Hard-Fi’s legendary sold out five night residency at Brixton Academy earlier this year and will include brand new interview footage of the band (filmed specially for Rockin’ The City in Richard Archer’s back garden!) reflecting on an amazing 18 months for the band.

The third podcast will feature interviews with Paul Weller, Mick Jones, Jerry Dammers and Billy Bragg.

Subsequent podcasts in the series will feature Hard-Fi’s recent Japanese and Australian tours while footage of Hard-Fi recording their highly-anticipated second album will also be made available in future podcasts.

Meanwhile, fans will be able to email questions, comments and suggestions to the band, which they will answer in the following month’s podcast.

For any fans who want to find out more about Hard-Fi’s influences, probe even deeper into life on the road, or even have an input into the recording of the new album, this is the place to do it.

Rockin’ The City will be available free of charge from iTunes and the band’s website, from Monday, November 27.

Subscribers to Hard-Fi’s previous podcasts will receive the ‘Rockin’ The City’ series automatically.
