Story by Jack Foley

HARD Rock International has announced plans to team up with music station Absolute Radio to present monthly music nights at London’s landmark Hard Rock Cafe venue.

The events kick off on Monday, January 25, 2010, when Hard Rock Presents Absolute Radio Sessions will see British indie rockers Editors take to the stage.

The event will be hosted by Absolute Radio DJ Geoff Lloyd and the gig will then be broadcast on Thursday, January 28, on the Geoff Lloyd Hometime Show on Absolute Radio from 7pm to 8pm.

The gig will also be filmed and will be available to watch along with an exclusive interview on www.absoluteradio.co.uk

The partnership continues Hard Rock’s commitment to hosting live music events, as within the last few years alone the likes of Aerosmith, Stevie Wonder, The Charlatans and Fun Lovin’ Criminals have all performed intimate shows at Hard Rock Cafe London.

Commenting on the initiative, Geoff Lloyd, of Absolute Radio, said: “This series of sessions are going to be the hottest tickets in town. It’s a rare opportunity to catch one of the country’s biggest acts up close in such an intimate venue – and the only way to get your hand on a ticket is to listen to Absolute Radio.”

Tickets for Hard Rock Presents Absolute Radio Sessions can only be won by tuning into Absolute Radio or logging on to www.absoluteradio.co.uk
