Hard Rock Calling 2011: Kaiser Chiefs and James join line-up

KAISER Chiefs (pictured) and James have joined the line-up for Hard Rock Calling 2011 in London’s Hyde Park.

The two acts will join headliners The Killers on Friday, June 24.

Black Cards and Vintage Trouble are also confirmed to perform, joining headliner Bon Jovi on Saturday, June 25.

Pop-rockers the Kaiser Chiefs will play a selection of hits as well as showcasing new material from their forthcoming album, while Manchester’s James will also be playing classics hits and new material.

On the Saturday, meanwhile, Pete Wentz’s new band Black Cards will be making their first appearance on the UK festival scene together with American soul-rockers Vintage Trouble, who gave an incredible performance earlier this year on Later With Jools Holland.

Hard Rock Calling is now in its sixth year of Hyde Park occupancy. In addition to headline appearances from The Killers on June 24 and Bon Jovi on 25 June 25, living legend Rod Stewart will headline Sunday, June 26 with rock ‘n’ roll queen Stevie Nicks as special guest.
