A HARRY Potter concert series has been announced that will visit London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall.

The series will allow fans of JK Rowling’s film series to watch their favourite wizards on the big screen, soundtracked by a live symphony orchestra performing the movie’s iconic soundtrack.

The Harry Potter Film Concert Series, which will begin with performances of Harry Potter & The Philosopher’s Stone, kicks off in London next May (2017).

It then continues around the UK, with venues in Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Glasgow.

Audiences will be able to relive the magic of the film in high-definition on a 40-foot screen while hearing the orchestra perform John Williams’ score.

News of the concert series caps a busy year for Harry Potter fans, who have also had the new play, Harry Potter & The Cursed Child, and its accompanying book to contend with.
