Hop Farm Festival 2009: Fratellis to headline Saturday

Hop Farm Festival

Story by Jack Foley

VINCE Power’s Hop Farm Festival have announced the The Fratellis as this year’s Saturday exclusive headliner.

The Brit Award winning Scottish Indie pop collective will top Saturday’s impressive band line up at Paddock Wood, Kent – although the identity of further acts will be announced shortly.

Further highlights at this year’s festival include the return of the ‘5 a side celebrity football tournament’, one of the most popular activities at Vince’s previous festival extravaganzas.

Alongside this the Hop Farm will offer fun fare and campsite entertainment, defining itself an ‘un-missible event’ on the summer calendar.

The Hop Farm Festival returns as a truly unique experience, exclusively themed as an event totally free of ticket registration, with No VIP areas, no branding or sponsorship.

This year, the festival offers a weekend experience of boutique camping, top-notch food and traditional ales, with some of the best artists playing over three stages.

It is a festival for festival-goers, returning live music to its roots, where music lovers turn up and enjoy the same experience as every other ticket holder.

Weekend tickets are £125 (incl camping and parking) and day tickets are £65. For all the information on this year,s event go to their brand new website at
