Innerpartysystem to play Apple Store gig (2009)

Story by Jack Foley

INNERPARTYSYSTEM will be performing an extra special stripped down set at the Apple Store, in London’s Regent Street, on February 6, from 7.30pm.

Innerpartysystem’s synth-laden rock aesthetic will be stripped back for the occasion but will still retain an electronic element using forward-thinking methods of sound production.

The band will incorporate two iPhone applications into their performance; vocalist Patrick will be using Yonac’s MiniSynth and drummer/programmer Jared is using Roventskij’s IR 909.

Entry to this event is free and open to all.

Innerpartysystem will re-release the single Don’t Stop on February 9.

You can catch the band’s intense live show in its entirety with support coming from Middle Class Rut throughout January and February 2009. They’ll be at London’s Islington Academy on February 5.
