Jake Bugg and Bastille for 2013 Crisis charity concert
Story by Jack Foley
JAKE Bugg (pictured) and Bastille are among the acts confirmed to play this year’s Crisis Presents concert in London.
To be held at London’s Eventim (formerly Hammersmith) Apollo on Friday, December 20, the event will also see AlunaGeorge performing in aid of the national charity for single homeless people.
There will also be a number of other special guests as well as performances from singers and musicians that take part in Crisis music classes.
Funds raised from the evening will go towards the life-changing Crisis at Christmas project and its year-round services across the UK
Leslie Morphy, chief executive of Crisis, commented: “We have some of the best British musical talent lined up for this year’s Crisis Presents and would like to thank all the artists, including our own from Crisis, for making it happen.
“At a time of rising homelessness, events like this are so important, so please support us by buying your tickets today – not only will this be a great evening but you will be helping us end homelessness.”
Tickets for the concert go on sale on Friday, November 8 at 9am.
