Jay-Z announces Magna Carta UK arena tour (2013)

FRESH from his two Wireless Festival dates in London this weekend, US rap icon Jay-Z has announced plans for a new UK and Ireland arena tour later this year.

The rapper will play a total of five dates in support of his latest album Magna Carta Holy Grail, which became his first UK number one album on Sunday.

The shows kick off in Manchester on October 3 and conclude with three nights at London’s O2 Arena (ending on October 12).

Tickets for the gigs go on sale from 9am on July 18 and are priced at £70, £55 and £40 for London, and £65, £50 and £37.50 regionally.

Jay-Z will also play a date at Dublin’s O2 Arena in Ireland on October 6.

The new tour follows Jay-Z’s double headline slot at London’s Wireless Festival at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park over the weekend.
