Jay-Z announces Royal Albert Hall date

DUE to overwhelming demand Jay-Z has added a very special second London date to his massive UK tour.

He will be bringing the first ever hip-hop show to the Royal Albert Hall when he takes to the stage on September 27.

This will be a unique opportunity for fans to catch the prolific lyricist at the world’s most prestigious venue.

Jay-Z’s historical debut at the Royal Halls is set to join an impressive list of the world’s greatest musical legends, from Verdi to Callas through to The Beatles and Springsteen.

PREIOUSLY POSTED: Hip-hop legend Jay-Z is coming out of retirement to play five UK dates in September.

The shows will mark his first dates in two years and include a night at London’s Wembley Arena on September 24.

Although the rapper announced his “retirement” in November 2003, he recently returned to performing with a one-off New York show on June 25.

He also appeared with Linkin Park as part of America’s Live 8 line-up last year, having collaborated with the band on a special MTV mash-up album.
