Journey and Whitesnake announce UK tour (2013)

Story by Jack Foley

JOURNEY and Whitesnake have announced a co-headline UK tour in 2013.

The two bands will play a total of eight dates in May next year, culminating with a night at London’s Wembley Arena. It will mark the first time the bands have appeared on-stage together.

They will be joined by special guests Thunder, who will reunite soon for two sell-out Christmas shows.

Journey and Whitesnake are famous for some of the most recognisable hits of the ’80s, including Journey’s recently revived Don’t Stop Believin’ and Whitesnake’s Here I Go Again.

Journey’s Neal Schon said of the tour: “Looking forward to getting back to the UK and playing our best for you all. You guys are the very best, cheers and see you soon. We will be rocking!”
