JUSTIN Timberlake is to co-headline the third and final date of this year’s Wireless Festival in London with Jay-Z, it has been confirmed.

Both acts will headline individual dates prior to the joint show, with Timberlake headlining the festival on Friday, July 12 and Jay-Z closing the Saturday (13). Their headline set follows a day later, on Sunday (14).

They will be joined by several hip-hop acts, including A$AP Rocky, Nas and A Tribe Called Quest, who will be playing their first UK show in 20 years.

This year’s Wireless Festival event takes place in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in east London, as opposed to its previous home in Hyde Park, following Live Nation’s switch from the venue earlier this year.

Commenting on the co-headlie gig, Dennis Hone, Chief Executive of London Legacy Development Corporation, said: “It’s a credit to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park that this year’s Yahoo! Wireless Festival is the fastest selling in the event’s history and we are delighted that both Justin Timberlake and Jay Z, will be performing a third date here in July with a preview of their Legends of the Summer Tour.”

Tickets for the Sunday show (on July 14) go on sale on Friday, March 15 at 9am and are priced at £75 plus booking fee.
